Bridge to Belonging Program

Supporting LGBTQIA+ im/migrants and their families

Inclusive and Confidential Services

The Bridge to Belonging program provides ongoing settlement services through individual and group sessions, both online and in-person, to support LGBTQIA+ newcomers and their families in navigating and accessing local resources.

This new program is designed to improve access to effective settlement and integration services through offering dedicated, inclusive, and confidential spaces to address the needs of LGBTQIA+ newcomers.

Build Connections in Your Community

Additionally, the Program offers trauma-informed opportunities to engage and build connections in the North Shore community. Through collaboration with community service providers and LGBTQIA+ services in BC, the Program offers workshops on LGBTQIA+ inclusion and well-being as well as building a safe referral network for LGBTQIA+ newcomers and their families.

Whether you are an LGBTQIA+ im/migrant, family member or community service provider, please contact Shadi, Bridge to Belonging Lead, at shadia@impactnorthshore.ca for more information.
