Under the supervision of the Employment Services Manager, the Job Developer is responsible for working with job seekers to support them in securing employment, retaining employment, and connecting them with employers. The job Developer works toward a set number of individual job seekers securing employment monthly while actively engaging in outreach to a specified number of new employers per month (as instructed). The Job Developer will collaborate with clients to achieve short—and long-term job sustainability objectives.

Client Intake Worker - Ukrainian-speaking Full Time

The Client Intake Worker provides basic assessment, information, referrals, and support to all clients contacting the front desk using a variety of service delivery platforms (telephone, in-person and online). Responsibilities include program intake, registration, records management, client data entry, document translation, and administrative support. Youth Equity Worker Full Time

The Settlement Workers in Schools (SWIS) program of Impact North Shore is currently seeking a dynamic Youth Equity Worker who will be responsible for organizing and facilitating workshops and youth activities focused on diversity, equity, and inclusion. This role may also involve supplying one-to-one information, support, and referrals to eligible immigrant youth in School Districts 44 and 45, aged between 8-12 and 13-18 years. The Youth Equity Worker will also conduct related outreach, marketing, and community engagement activities.

To be considered for this position, the Youth Equity Worker must have a strong understanding of diversity, equity, and inclusion and the ability to engage stakeholders on associated topics. Additionally, the candidate must have experience in facilitation and be comfortable leading groups, as well as possess knowledge of the barriers encountered by youth of diverse backgrounds.
