LINC Instructor (Substitute) Part Time

The Impact North Shore LINC program offers a wide range of English language learning classes to newcomers on the North Shore ranging from Literacy to Level 7.


The LINC Instructor will be supported by the Language Leads and work under the direction of the Manager of Language Programs. The LINC Instructor will teach and support LINC students to develop their English language skills in accordance with the PBLA requirements and the general requirements of the federally funded LINC program.

Currently, we are looking for an experienced LINC instructor to cover a LINC class in the evenings for a period of 3 months.

Operations and Administrative Coordinator Full Time, 4-month contract

The Operations & Administrative Coordinator oversees and ensures smooth running facilities both on-line and in person. Working alongside multiple departments, this role addresses any issues that arise in the day-to-day operations by ensuring that the necessary facilities and equipment are in place for the seamless coordination of programs, classes, workshops and daily functions.  This includes building facility operations, working with contractors, developing and maintaining office systems, conducting internal assessments to ensure optimal operational functions, and coordinating new technology roll-outs. The administrative responsibilities entail coordinating all Board correspondence, meetings, and functions, handling supplies from coordinating shipping to ensuring delivery as scheduled. This position is a multifaceted role responsible for a wide range of services from operations and office systems to building maintenance and capital equipment. The Operations and Administrative Coordinator will be required to assess, enhance, and mitigate possible issues that may affect disruption to business operations.

Client Intake Worker - Mandarin-speaking Part Time

The Client Intake Worker provides basic assessment, information, referrals, and support to all clients contacting the front desk using a variety of service delivery platforms (telephone, in-person, and online). Responsibilities include program intake, registration, records management, client data entry, document translation, and administrative support. As the first point of contact for all Impact North Shore clients, the Client Intake Worker plays a key role in welcoming and onboarding clients to Impact North Shore services. This position reports to the Office and Intake Manager and receives supervision from the management team.
