The HR Manager role models the organizational values of diversity, respect, and excellence in their day-to-day work and interactions with all staff. This position is responsible for leading the development and implementation of a wide range of HR functions including staff recruitment, selection and onboarding, compensation and benefits, training, staff engagement, HRIS systems, as well as performance management. They ensure organizational compliance with applicable laws and standards, as well as adherence to best practices in HR. They act as a trusted and knowledgeable advisor who provides guidance to managers, supervisors, and staff on employment standards, HR policies, and procedures, as well as other HR-related matters.

Impact North Shore community connections programming aims to create a sense of belonging, foster social cohesion, enhance employment readiness, and offer opportunities for informal language learning. Conversation Circles provide an informal and enjoyable approach to learning English, where participants improve their language skills, cultivate friendships, and expand their social networks. The Community Connections Worker is pivotal in achieving these objectives, working collaboratively with our Intake Team, Volunteer Coordinator, and Settlement Team members to ensure seamless service delivery. The Community Connections worker will collaborate with multiple teams to ensure service delivery of conversation circles and overall Community Connections deliverables are met.
