The YESS Program can support you to develop your skills and gain work experience!

Youth Employment Services at Impact North Shore can support youth to navigate the labour market, strengthen job search strategies, enhance soft skills, and help to gain work experience.

This program is government-funded and free of charge.

Program Highlights

This program provides a variety of individual support and group workshops to help you develop your skills and prepare to enter the job market.

Access needs assessment, career development information, and job retention assistance.

Benefit from career planning, ongoing one-to-one support, and mentorship.

Attend group workshops to strengthen employability skills.

To be eligible for the program, you must:

  • Be between the ages of 15-30, inclusive.
  • Have Permanent Resident, Convention Refugee, Protected Person, CUAET Holder, or Live-In Caregiver status.
  • Be eager to gain new skills, aquire knowledge and quality work experience.
  • Be in need of support to develop employment readiness and overcome barriers to retaining employment.
