We are proud to announce the launch of the Youth Employment and Skills Strategy (YESS) program in June 2022. This program has been designed specifically to support immigrant youth ages 15-30 to navigate the local labour market and enhance their skills through group and training 1-1 support. The YESS program partners with North Shore employers to offer youth opportunities to gain work experience through short-term placements and with the ultimate goal of securing stable employment.
We are excited about the strong interest and uptake from North Shore immigrant youth who are making their way into the local labour market! We are equally excited to support local employers with their hiring needs.
