Black History Month: Building Brave Spaces

Discuss creating community spaces for growth and exploration

Join us in this conversation with guest speaker Ivan Leonce (RSW), as they guide us in dialogue to build understanding and explore ways to foster a stronger sense of community.

Learn about black history, the importance of healing, and the importance of building community spaces for connection and care for all of our community members.

Topics include:

  • Learning about the history of inclusion and exclusion of black communities in BC
  • Hearing and discussing how we can all foster safe and welcoming spaces for community conversations and cross-cultural connection
  • Asking questions and sharing your thoughts about belonging, inclusion, and black history in Canada
