Support each other and your family throughout your settlement journey

Join this program to explore challenges of intimate relationships encountered by immigrant families, and learn ways to improve and reshape intimacy along the settlement journey.

This program includes experiential activities, small group discussions, case scenario demonstrations, and more.

Topics include:

  • How cultural differences affect family relationships
  • Understanding your and your partner’s communication style
  • Understanding each other’s emotional needs and “love languages”
  • Discussion of differences in parenting, parent-child communication methods, and establishing parenting goals
