Settlement Workshops in Schools (SWIS) Workshop for Parents and Guardians
Join these SWIS workshops for parents and guardians of teenaged students in the North Vancouver and West Vancouver schools. This series of informational workshops will help parents and guardians learn about adolescent brain development, understand the underlying causes of teen behaviour, and provide tools to build healthy parent-teen relationships.
Topics include:
- The teenage brain and understanding teen behaviour
- Active listening
- Challenges newcomer teens face
- How to set effective boundaries
