Land We Live On: Coast Salish Canvas Painting & Guided Gallery Experience

A unique opportunity to gain a better understanding of First Nations history and culture.

Join this interactive workshop to explore Coast Salish culture and teachings through art in a canvas painting session led by one of MONOVA’s Indigenous Cultural Programmers.

Participants will:

  • Be guided through a hands-on exploration of various Coast Salish styles, motifs, and methods
  • Enjoy a guided tour of the gallery highlighting stories, objects, belongings, and photographs from North Shore communities
