Message of Support for the Filipino Community

We stand with the Filipino community who have been deeply affected by the tragedy that took place at the Lapu Lapu Festival on Saturday, April 26th.

It is with heavy hearts that we offer our condolences to the families who lost their loved ones. In this painful and heartbreaking time, we send our support to those recovering from this shocking event

To our community,

We are still finding the words to express the deep heartbreak brought on by this senseless tragedy. We are devastated for the families and victims.

We encourage everyone to check in, support and hold each other. Do not hesitate to access the resources available. You are not alone.

We will not be taking any media requests, as we are focused on supporting our community right now, in addition to experiencing this trauma. We also want to make it clear that we discourage the viewing and sharing of the videos that are currently circulating of the tragedy.

In the coming days, we will be sharing more resources. More details will be made available by the VPD as the investigation unfolds.
