Immigrant Advisory Council

The IAC provides guidance on NSIIP projects, shares and promotes promising practices and research, and encourages community participation. The IAC played a formative role in conceptualizing NSIIP Strategic Plan 2023-2028.

IAC members are selected for two-year terms and represent a diverse range of experiences, including length of time in Canada, occupational backgrounds, age and gender. Current IAC members are: Ana Maria C. Huaman, Barbara Moon S. Jeong, Benng Ng, Golnaz Bihamta Toussi, Iryna Dushenka, Juan Ignacio Matute, Dr. Katie Brennan, Lindy Pfeil, and Zeila Castillo.
