Settlement Workshops in Schools (SWIS) Workshop for Parents and Guardians

This informational workshop will help parents understand the underlying causes of preteen and teen behaviour, learn about adolescent brain development, and gain tools to build healthy relationships with their children.

Join us for an in-person information session by a certified BC counselor which will help you to support your child as they go through adolescence.

Topics include:

  • The teenage brain and understanding teen behaviour
  • Active listening
  • Effective communication
