Transition to Secondary School

For parents, guardians, and current grade 7 students in the North Vancouver School District

In this workshop, parents, guardians, and students will learn about secondary school and the school system.

Topics include:

  • Courses (required/elective)
  • Timetables, fees, forms, ID cards, etc.
  • Enhanced programs (IB, academies, etc.)
  • Assessment, accessing report cards
  • School-based clubs, sports teams, and volunteering opportunities
  • Ways to support your child in secondary school
