Youth Elevate Program
Are you between the ages of 15-30 and looking for work? The Youth Elevate Program is designed to support youth, especially those facing employment barriers, in developing the skills, knowledge, and networks necessary to successfully transition into the labour market.
This program offers opportunities to gain meaningful work experience to support your personal and professional development. The Youth Elevate Program is cohort based.
This program is government-funded and free of charge.

Program Highlights
This specialized program includes:
5 weeks of paid employment services and group skills training to develop practical skills and build confidence
Group workshops on resume and cover letter writing, job search strategies, interview skills, time management, workplace communication, digital literacy, and more
Short-term training and certifications including First Aid, WHIMIS, and customer service
10 weeks of paid work placement that aligns with your career goals, interests, and abilities to gain work experience
Individual support including access to childcare, transportation, counselling, and coaching
Employer Engagement and Supports
Our team actively collaborates with employers to establish positive work experiences for youth by offering coaching and mentorship for employers, support with participant placement agreements, and insight into industry demands and successful employment characteristics.
To be eligible for the program, you must be:
- Be between the ages of 15-30, inclusive.
- A Canadian citizen, Permanent Resident, or Protected Person as per the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act
- Legally entitled to work in Canada, according to provincial/territorial legislation
- Unemployed and not in school
