The March 2024 employment networking event brought together local employers and im/migrants to build connections, expand professional networks, and promote economic inclusion. Employers were able to meet local im/migrant talent and newcomers were able to learn about local industry opportunities.
The event brought together im/migrants from diverse professional backgrounds and experiences, offering them a platform to connect with like-minded individuals, expand their networks, and explore new business opportunities on the North Shore. One of the key highlights of the event was the opportunity to engage with industry experts from local businesses, allowing attendees to gain valuable knowledge and insights.
Connecting im/migrants to local opportunities is not just about individual success; it’s about community growth. When im/migrants are given the opportunity to thrive, they contribute to the economic, social, and cultural fabric of their communities. They bring new perspectives, skills, and ideas that can drive innovation and prosperity.
“Your commendable efforts have successfully brought together employers from various sectors, providing organizations and individuals with a platform to connect, establish meaningful relationships, and ultimately thrive in their respective endeavours.” – Hamid D.
A special recognition goes to everyone who made this event possible; our venue host – the North Vancouver City Library, for giving our attendees the perfect space to mix and mingle and to the representatives from the following employers and professional associations who dedicated their time and expertise to ensuring this event brought value to our guests:

These partnerships play a crucial role creating a more inclusive and equitable North Shore. Thank you to all of the event partners – we’re truly grateful.
This event, like many others we curate and offer, is a testament to the power of connection and collaboration in fostering community growth and prosperity. By connecting im/migrants to local employers and professional associations, we create opportunities where everyone can succeed.
