Our Safe Haven program provides legal help to refugee claimants thanks to our partnership with Legal Aid BC. Clients are connected with skilled lawyers who can guide them through the im/migration process. This includes help with refugee hearings, understanding applications, and even family law matters for those whose legal challenges affect their personal lives. Community Support: Building Stability and Belonging
Partnering with Shelter to Home, we provide free household items to clients transitioning from homelessness or living on a tight budget. These essentials help create a stable home environment. Additionally, our work with the Helping Families in Need Society has allowed us to give gently used household goods to women in transition, single parents, seniors, and refugees. Migrant Workers Support Program
Our Migrant Workers Support program is committed to supporting migrant workers facing challenging circumstances. We support migrant workers who are experiencing challenges in the workplace by providing them a safe space to discuss their concerns, education about their rights under local employment laws, and exploring options to transition into safer work environments.
